VIV roller rock bits have improved performance characteristics. In the design of the cutting structure has been used optimizing of the distribution of cutters and shape of cones taking into account the features of the mechanism of destruction of various types of rocks. Cooling of bits and purification downhole bottom have been adapted for different systems of drilling mud and/or air circulation.
Drill bits with milled steel teeth have a hardfacing with tungsten carbide allow on the teeth to a improving the abrasive wear resistance and extra protection of cones gauge by tungsten carbide inserts, which provide high ROP. Drill bits with tungsten carbide inserts have highly abrasive and impact wear resistance and they provide enhanced footage in the drilling of any rock formations.

Our machinery and equipment includes use state-of-the-art CNC machines tools. Products are designed using the latest AutoCAD Inventor design and drafting software. This design system allows our engineers to more accurately design bits for optimum performance. All bearing surfaces on our cones are finish turned after heat treatment. All of our bits are assembled, greased and inspected in a special clean room area.
Established in 2004, VIV has been designing and manufacturing roller cone bits and gradually increasing the sizes and types available.
